Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Analyst in Lincoln:
Most departments value having a dedicated analyst within their team. There is a push to consolidate them into a GIS team; However, due to funding priorities, city/county structure a fully conversion isn’t likely. Lincoln has a wonderful data structure, and the management staff take pride in proving great infrastructure. The local/regional team meets for mappy hours near quarterly. Above all we share freely and ask for help freely.
