Don’t bother.
General Manager, Food Service in Fort Drum:
Pros: I have been able to build a restaurant from the ground up; and have provided a strong, powerful female lead to my almost entirely female staff, while being able to keep a positive environment and produce phenomenal food.
Cons: I was given no salary, no PTO, no benefits, and $16/hr and then told I have to put myself on the schedule where the other employees were able to see exactly what I made. I was promised salary at the beginning and the never followed through; expecting me to work 70+ hours a week but then screaming at me for putting those hours on payroll, and for having a 32% labor cost and 15% food cost.
