Experience Can't Be Gained In A Week.
Front End Developer / Engineer:
There is no way easy way around gaining experience. You have to start at the bottom. So many people think they can just go to a code camp for a week and then apply for senior level positions. You have to build for years in order to gain expertise in this field. Take any experience building position you can at first. It won't be glamorous, but it will get you learning. Contribute to open-source projects, and constantly learn outside of the office. If you don't keep learning, someone else will, and they will replace you.

Developing and working on 'visual' aspects of apps.
Front End Developer / Engineer:
Pros: It's a always and fast changing environnement. Technologies always evolved. Good to have work flexibility.
Cons: Not easy to handle and be compatible with all devices types and platforms. And in France, technicals works like developer are undervalued, and not very considered.
November 2013
Freedom
Front End Developer / Engineer:
Pros: The office location is great, co-workers are friendly and the working environment is nice majority of the time.
Cons: It lacks minimum management skills from the CEO and the "manager" in charge. Project management is a mess and lots of time (literally months in some cases) are wasted in project execution that might never even be used at all or will need to be heavily modified. Company culture is against modern development practices and hold back innovation.
