Front End Developer / Engineer in Greenville:
The ability to learn and adapt in development work is obviously required, but when I started seeing my work as more of a progressive esthetic, I began to take pride in the outcome of every project I worked on. The more sites that I build with CSS, HTML, JS, AS, PHP, etc., the more I enjoy the endless ways to accomplish most anything; not only from the ability to shorthand your code with less, sass, markdown, grunt, etc.. But to appreciate the code that you come up with enough to constantly rebuild it with updated syntax, update the modeling structure or enhance parts to incorporate a new plugin or updated methodology.
I'm not a typical developer, as my background is in design, but I find that both types of work require someone who likes to solve problems and enjoys the outcome. Designers, developers.. Both have to find the love in solving problems, so they're more related than people tend to realize.
