Try to find an employer that has experienced employees/managers that are able to train/teach you valuable skills relevant to the type of work that the particular company performs.

Experience is Critical.
Electrical Engineer:
It may be difficult but it is worth trying to get into a practice and complete your higher education part time. This will enable you to apply the knowledge gained. Also the job is considerably different to the principles thought at university (in my experience), such as creating technical drawings and specification documents.

Pros: 8 hours per day work in operation and general 7 hours in maintenance. Get see off paid. Get 2BHK house immediately. Free electricity, water, medical etc. Do not have pressure to do anything, Full Flexible job...
Cons: Promotion policy is not performance based...

Pros: The work is very interesting, and the pay can be very good.
Cons: Project work - most projects have a tendency to have problems along the way, no matter how good an engineer you are. This can be the most annoying thing about engineering jobs.
