July 2019
It is a good job.
Development Operations (DevOps) Engineer in Northampton:
Pros: My manager is especially good at leveraging the skills of each person in our team. He is an excellent manager that provides us with the freedom to work well by trusting on our skills.
At the moment I am part of a very good group and I can work closely with members of the R&D department.
We work in interesting problems in general and I feel supported.
Cons: Compensation is not good. Benefits are bad, the Health Plan is not as good as it used to be (the company where I worked was acquired by Community Brands) and Dental and Vision are much worse. The 401 match is small as well.
While I am in a good position professionally at the moment I do not see how I can increase my salary by continuing with this company.
