Desktop Support Specialist Reviews

What is it like working as a Desktop Support Specialist?

January 2019
Very relaxed.
Desktop Support Specialist in Pretoria:
Pros: Quiet
Cons: None
January 2019
Desktop Support Specialist:
Management doesn't care about staff, they only talk about money. Only managers are recognized as hardworking people and get Bonus. No opportunity, all their HR policies are on paper only. I don't recommend anyone to work here.
December 2018
Desktop Support Specialist:
My experience with Siemens Medical as an IT Support Specialist has been an excellent experience. My support teams from Operations to procurement and every other Team associated with helping me perform efficiently and keep my Users working without down time are the best I have worked with.

Desktop Support Specialist:
It was Ok the management talks big but doing nothing for your opinion, and bad stuff is about the managements are totally depending on the person's immediate supervisor and my team lead was a lyre and not good in manner with the person who works under him, while he was very good in front of the management. Management has to realize and should work closely with each and every individual to get the proper judgement instead of totally relaying only that stupid person. This will be unfair to other people. I will never work again there !!
September 2017
More expectations.
Desktop Support Specialist in Raleigh:
Be prepared.
August 2017
Immense Learning Experience.
Desktop Support Specialist in Livermore:
Pros: Being able to work without being micro-managed. Have access to a lot of things a normal desktop guy wouldn't(domain admin, O365 Global Admin), great learning position, can dip into anything I am interested in. Fantastic co-workers/team and leaders.
Cons: Big company so many be hard to move up.
March 2015
Adapting into Environments.
Desktop Support Specialist:
In order too adapt into new environments, specifically with a new Desktop Support contract in some cases, can become relatively easy! In other situations, while trying to adapt; or rather adaptable in a fast paste enviorment, can at times be abit strenuous. If not abit overwhelming. However, this is all part of the process of becoming more efficient or more productive in the workplace! Thanks, Leo.
