Ensure that when forecasting you understand the trend correlations and the impact of forecasts on inventory. Plan your demand such that you have more upstream pipeline inventory ready to convert to finished goods as and when needed. This provides a great deal more flexibility to volatile demand environments like those in the South African markets.

A mixed bag.

Pros: I'm grateful for the position at such a community conscience company.
Cons: The commute is horrible - turnpike traffic, tolls, wear and tear on my vehicle. Driving home can take hours if there happens to be an accident on the turnpike.

What systems and process were actually available.
Demand Planner:
Make sure that the systems and process in place are current and fully certified. Make sure that the contract offered is what is current and is up to par with other same type of contracts.
