Cons: Organization seems to be directionless, my direct manager has no idea what I do and is not qualified for her job. Communication is poor, and every two years they reorg and do layoffs right before Christmas.

Pros: I enjoy the fact that even though I work within the billing department, that we have the ability to provide outstanding care for our patients as well.
Cons: I believe that the communication is lacking between departments and managerial staff. The pay also does not equate for the amount of work done.

Pros: The culture is truly based around patient care. You see this daily from everyone. I couldn't picture myself elsewhere.
Cons: Though, it is a hospital, it is also a business; therefore, from a business prospective somethings take priority over others. However, on a positive note, this leads back to our patients always taking presidence.
