Control Systems Engineer Reviews
What is it like working as a Control Systems Engineer?
January 2020
Not too bad. Good opportunities, but better oppotunities in neighbouring cities.
Control Systems Engineer in Peterborough:
Pros: Close to my family and local amenities.
Cons: Knowing there's more interesting cities with much more appealing roles not too far away. Cambridge, Northampton etc.
April 2019
Creativity is encouraged but at the expense of discipline and communications.
Control Systems Engineer in Batesville:
Pros: I am trusted to be self driven and creative. I feel I am the subject matter expert when it comes to control systems here and my input is sought after.
Cons: The lack of traditional hierarchy lends well to creativity for my role, but it undermines the communication lines and structure of projects. i.e. no one is "in charge" of projects, allowing them to flounder indefinitely.

Control Systems Engineer in Columbus:

Cons: To much centered around Cummins, which is a bad thing, since manufacturing will have downturns.
January 2019
Valuable.
Control Systems Engineer in Houston:
Pros: Interacting with other engineering disciplines, managers, client and vendors without restrictions to get my job done effectively.
Cons: Sometimes lack of company's training that has been needed to success projects so in that case it has been own training (extra own time) but it has not been a problem for me.
January 2019
Control Systems Engineer in Concord:
Pros: Type of Work and Work Environment
