Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist Reviews
What is it like working as a Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist?
May 2021
Great Patient Care Facility.
Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist in Rochester:
Pros: I am able to interact 90% of the time with the patient, where I am able to talk and make the patients at ease and comfortable. Without the rush of getting patients in and out for their exams, I am able to take my time with moving them with the least amount of discomfort, all the while getting their exam done in a timely manner.
Cons: The amount of patients that are ordered for Cat Scans, when other modalities, which do not require radiation or having to wait for a diagnosis. Even after getting an Ultra Sound and having blood work confirming the issue or problem, CTs are performed as an added charge.

Very fast pace, and very busy. However, thats the way I like it.

Pros: 8 % match of 401k

Worked for another company got paid more, stayed with HCA at the same time, full time positioned opened back up and I negotiated my return.
