A great small town with a lot of charm near bigger cities.
Communications Manager in Chapel Hill:
Pros: The town of Chapel Hill has a lot of exciting things to offer, and it's close to Durham and Raleigh to explore other areas, too. There is a lot of change throughout the year as well as students come back to campus for the semester and leave for breaks. That creates a nice ebb and flow. There's a great community in Chapel Hill outside of the university.
Cons: It is an extremely expensive area to live in compared to other parts of North Carolina and even to its surrounding areas, and the policies that continue to be put in place make it even more expensive.
