Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Reviews
What is it like working as a Chief Financial Officer (CFO)?
November 2015
My job.
Chief Financial Officer (CFO):
Pros: I like that I Manage a residential complex, select suppliers, and negotiate purchase contracts, and that I maintain the company afloat during the observation period.
Cons: The fact that I can't have faster responses from the owners, and this leads to big delays.
October 2015
Chief Financial Officer (CFO):
Work hard at understanding the business rather than just assuming that by knowing accounting and finance in general you will function well here.
October 2015
How many job descriptions I would be required to fill.
Chief Financial Officer (CFO):
Due Diligence, hard work, perserverence.
September 2015
LACK OF PROMOTION AND FOLLOW THROUGH ON CAREER GOALS.
Chief Financial Officer (CFO):
RESEARCH THE COMPANY YOU GET AN OFFER FROM. JUST BECAUSE THEY SAY IT , GET IT IN WRIITING.
July 2015
Take the initiative and be creative.
Chief Financial Officer (CFO):
The average qualified person can prepare financial reports, budgets and pro forma cashflows. The exceptional individual understands the industry and cross disciplinary relationships necessary to separate the company from its peer group. Develop a deep understanding for what it takes to succeed as a company and focus on those issues.
June 2015
Chief Financial Officer - Finance Leader.
Chief Financial Officer (CFO):
Pros: Corporate planning.
Strategic management.
Controllership.
Treasury to include fund raising.
Cons: Transaction processing.
Accounting.
May 2015
Open Mind.
Chief Financial Officer (CFO):
Always keep an open mind. Thinking inside the box like exams teach you will only hinder your growth. Listen and Learn, don't be afraid to suggest other ideas. The CEO will always love and hate you. Don't take it personal.
