Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Non-Profit Organization:
After being CEO for over 20 years I have realised that the greatest requirement for the job is common sense and a calm approach. Also, treating everyone (whatever level they are in the organisation) as if they are my employer......with utmost respect.
I try to remember that I should never ask anyone to do something that I would not be willing to do myself, and that respect cannot be demanded.....it has to be earned.
