Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPHT) Reviews

What is it like working as a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPHT)?

December 2018
Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPHT):
UF Health is a great place to to work. The benefits are great and I love the people I work with. The only gripe I have is that there is too much micro management... Particularly in my department. Overall, my experience here has been a positive one.

Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPHT):
I'm finding that we are overworked and underpaid. We are supposed to rotate stations throughout the day, but I have found that isn't always the way it is. There are older techs that don't want to do anything but fill. They don't like helping customer's and stand in one spot yelling directions and orders to other technicians. They don't want to do anything that they deem beneath them. Sometimes even the pharmacist are afraid to put their foot down and make sure things are ran the way that CVS intends it to be.

Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPHT):
Low pay and bad bosses. Bad place to work if you are a woman. They tolerate outright harassment and punish those who come forward. Benefits are almost non existent. The workers are treated without respect.

Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPHT):
InGenesis is an excellent company to work for. Management was very responsive and personable when answering questions and concerns. They kept their payscale up with other companies in the same market. I was driving to work one morning and received a $2/hour raise. I had never even asked for a raise.
