Good place to work, but you wait 2 years for full benefits.

Pros: Company is growing quickly, management is good, and they primarily hire from.
Cons: Pay scale is skewed below region average. Full benefits of full-time work don't take effect until 2 years consecutive employment at company. Full insurance is provided immediately, only half of the vacation time is given. Full vacation time, tuition reimbursement not available until 2 years.

Pros: I love the ability to focus on my work without interruption, the opportunity to build trust with managers in multiple states, and I love the flexibility to work as effectively as possible by occasionally communicating the need for short-term flexibility as well as avoiding unnecessary corporate / company politics or conflicts.
Cons: I have less visibility and opportunity to meet with peers and leaders without a formal meeting setup. It can also be a disadvantage being unable to get quick-help or answers to quick-questions on the fly. I also (occasionally) would enjoy working physically with a team but generally prefer working from home.
