Pros: People, flexibility at work, training opportunities are there if budget allows.
Cons: Severely under-compensated and that's a company wide problem. Politics across different offices and lack of transparency in senior management. Always hiring people when in reality there isn't much to do.

Information technology.
Pro: lots of projects; most are interesting.
Con: staff attrition, and the corresponding loss of knowledge, can leave you feeling abandoned.
Pro: lower level management a lot like "regular employee"
Con: too many managers, in some situations.
Pro: lower level management willing to compromise and will offer opportunities to learn.
Con: higher level management will change or take away what lower level management offers.
Pro: health insurance cost is good, if you pass health screening.
Con: 401k is automatic, unless you opt out.
Pro: employs many people from local community.
Con: things said outside of work may follow you back into office.
