Understanding of my role is not complete.
Business Administrator:
Pros: Stability, comfortable office, not a very strict management, 1 business trip per year abroad to the HQ, low stress level, team work.
Cons: No possible development, no feedback of my work, achievements, everyone got raised but me, ignorance from the boss, the boss "steals" my work from me, no important/major/interesting tasks/projects, no flexibility, few responsibility, no advance training, seldom use of foreign languages, decreased motivation, business and communication isolation, increased scope of work without any salary raise, too much of a routine work, small benefits, poor system of encouragement, feeling of vanity, often idle periods, very rare business trips, unrealized potential, low-level corporate/HR policy.
May 2014
Negotiate!

I wish I would have had the knowledge and confidence to negotiate my starting salary. EVERYONE NEGOTIATES! Due to my lack of confidence at the time, I ended up starting my career about $5,000 behind my male counterparts. I regret it constantly and feel I will never catch up!
