Billing Coordinator Reviews
What is it like working as a Billing Coordinator?
August 2021
Challenging and rewarding.
Billing Coordinator in Baton Rouge:
Pros: Constant change
Cons: Pay is not across the board. Depends on who likes you, not work product or ethic
April 2021
Love it.
Billing Coordinator in Riverside:
Pros: I love my direct supervisor and how supportive she is. She always helps when asked. She is knowledgeable. If there is an issue, she works with you to find a solution. Her team is awesome and I am happy to be part of it.
Cons: I feel that I am underpaid for my experience level, the fact that I have a certificate for billing and am still paying student loans, I feel that I am underpaid for the cost of living in my region and demographic.
January 2021
Billing Coordinator in New York:
Worst Place to Work! Every old outdated systems, trainings are in in Long Island. Not enough work, too many staff, micro managed. Then my coworkers were all the SAME, seriously culturally CLUELESS!
July 2020
Bait and Switch.
Billing Coordinator in Philadelphia:
Pros: I am able to do my work without being micromanaged. I enjoy the direct team I work with.
Cons: No raises. Very little room for advancement. HR is not confidential. Different rates of pay for the same job description depending on the department.
February 2020
Small Town Feeling.
Billing Coordinator in Grayling:
Pros: The small town feeling. I have created many bonds with the patients that come in. We are a big family.
Cons: The doctor and his wife use the "small town" to keep our pay down.
December 2019
Disapappointed about Compensation.
Billing Coordinator in Oaklyn:
Pros: I like almost everything about this place that is why I am having a hard time trying to start to look for another job but the pay for this manager is too low and the other managers do not have any openings.
Cons: My direct supervisor is not the best with people. Also here it is not what you know it is who you know and that is how you are paid. I have seen the same job pay a $9.00 hr difference. Not good or fair.
November 2019
Okay.
Billing Coordinator in New York:
Pros: Some of the coworkers
Cons: Favoritism
