What is it like working as an Associate Research Scientist?

Toxic Work Environment.
Associate Research Scientist in Seattle:
Pros: I mostly like Preksha as she is very kind, knowledgeable, and professional.
Cons: The toxic work environment other than that organization and communication needs a great deal of improvement.

Wonderful.
Associate Research Scientist in Kansas City:
Pros: I have the freedom to do my job. There isn't a supervisor looking over my shoulder every second of the day. I get to go to work, do what I do best. Everyone is incredibly nice and willing to help out if you need it.
Cons: I currently am a contractor so I don't get paid for hoildays.

Good place for learning and expanding your experience.
Associate Research Scientist in Rockville:
Pros: Flexibility with work place
Cons: Low pay
February 2019
Associate Research Scientist:
I was a contracted employee but a permanent position wasn't right for me in the group I was a temp with. Great company. The director really cared about the group. Some issues with managers beneath the director but overall it was a positive experience.
January 2019
Associate Research Scientist:
Absolutely love working here. Welcoming, friendly, understanding coworkers and supervisors. Excellent benefits. Great opportunities for advancement. The only downside is the pay structure and the mandatory temp contract in the beginning. The temp to full time rate for promotions is non-negotiable. Definitely worth the lesser pay for a phenomenal work environment.
