Delegate and Evaluate.
Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON):
Manage your time by delegating task to staff nurses, they do have time to complete all their work most days. Evaluate skills more frequently, it will help you know your employees individual strengths and weakness as you are educating 1:1 with those employees. Everyone learns tasks differently, do not forgot those who have to see and do tasks.
Try to leave work everyday around the same time. Do not burn yourself out, that paperwork and reports will be there tomorrow as well.
