Pros: I love the autonomy my job provides. I love our patient base and fully support our mission as a practice. We specialize in bariatrics, general surgery and GI, so there is always something to learn and ample ways to grow.
Cons: The limited staff in a new and groing surgery center. The business aspect of the business is somewhat of a hinderance and there is a lack of communication between business and clinical aspects.

Some days it’s great most days it’s not. We’re constantly short staffed. Maybe if they raised starting pay a little and offered a weekend shift differential we could keep more people. The benefits aren’t bad. Most of management is ok. We have a lot of fun usually.
