Pros: New company thus I get good exposure in the market and I am able to study all aspects to make a company work.
Cons: I am not sure my company will grow more and I am in need of a better pay at the moment.

Applications Engineer:
Pros: The challenge of conceiving, designing, implementing and commissioning bespoke control solutions that optimise processes, minimise energy consumption and improve product quality across several industries - water, pharma and consumer packaged goods. The travel - I travel all over the world to deploy these solutions.
Cons: As we work extensively at client sites, some employees (of clients) can be uncooperative or borderline hostile.

Applications Engineer:
Engineering degree doesn't really matter in this position. Regardless when you start the job, you need to learn about your product and learn the processes and calculations used in that specific business. Be willing to learn everything you can and soak it in - that is what is important.
