Life is long — eventually you're going to end up doing what you want to be doing anyway, so you might as well start before college. Take the time, get to know yourself, and pick a degree that leads you to where you want to end up, not necessarily a job, but a path. Too many people settle too early because they think it's too late. It's likely a reason graduate school exists. You should have to pay an additional $100k+ after paying for undergrad. Use your time and money wisely.

This is an extremely busy front desk. I would call it an extraordinary front desk. I assist all of the orientation staff for the Human Resource Department, the regular staff, which includes many disciplines from direct care providers to doctors. The external people who visit Devereux must come through my front door first. I need to identify/ID all of who wants to visit the campus. Triangeing all the telephone calls that come to the main line located here at my desk, which often times can be challenging sometimes the call turns in to therapy for a family member. My advice to a new comer for such a position is to be patient, learn as much as you can about the staff and the facility. You will need to answer many types of questions often times tracking down the answers while the caller is on hold.
