What is it like working at YMCA?

Very long hours little pay.
Wellness Director:
Pros: Fitness atmosphere, my boss is like family to me.
Cons: Upper management makes decisions without knowing the area of fitness, or what employees contribute.
Just checking my worth.
Administrative Assistant:
Pros: I love the Mission. I am a Mission Driven individual!
Cons: To new to Express.
Ability To Strengthen Community, Work With Diverse Group.
Executive Director:
Pros: Making a difference, people, variety.
Cons: Financial stress, lack of resources, controlling supervisor.
My Job.
Director of Development, Non-Profit Organization:
Pros: The relationships that I have with the employees, members and donors, flexible schedule, and giving back to the community.
Cons: My salary.
Work Flexibility, Stress Level High.
Lifeguard:
Pros: Close to where I work. I know what I am doing. Free gym membership. Working around people who want to be fit.
Cons: Members complain a lot. Staff show up late for shifts. I don't know how to move up the ladder. The job is boring.
