Pros: Challenging work, professional development, meaningful work in the community, supportive direct manager.
Cons: Distant and unhelpful HR, pay freezes/compensation of employees (not just me, but my direct reports as well), poor communication and availability of senior leadership, suspension of 401(k) match for years.
Even though my direct manager appreciates me the company as a whole does not appreciate their employees.

Contract Analyst in Toronto:
Pros: That it pays my bills, barely.
Cons: - Management
- Little to no career advancement
- Everyone who left our department got the worst treatment from management once you gave in your 2 weeks notice
- You're treated as if you should be lucky to be working full time at all, as if no one else would hire you if they were to let you go
- Zero visibility of what your future is like at the company
