Wunderlich-Malec Reviews
What is it like working at Wunderlich-Malec?
Not focusing on the future.
Controls Engineer in Minneapolis:
Pros: I have been put into a position where I am trusted to complete my job without a lot of oversight. This allows me a lot of freedom to interact with clients, and avoid going through various commitees and meetings to determine the best way to proceed on projects. I also do not have very many interactions with upper management.
Cons: Company isn't focused on growth. Training and teaching just don't happen. Any desire to broaden your horizons are met with some disdain; and are required to be completed on your own time. Company doesn't see that they are falling behind in an industry where that is a very bad thing. New platforms and technologies are not pursued. Upper management feels like they are just trying to maximize profits until they can retire and don't care about the companies future.
