Willis Towers Watson Reviews
What is it like working at Willis Towers Watson?
Challenging and always something new.
Project Manager, Information Technology (IT) in Sandy:
Pros: Flexibility, the opportunity to grow within the company
Cons: My below average pay
Strictly limited opportunities for growth and promotion despite of exceeding targets every year. Strong sense hierarchy where those with strategic contacts in the company while not competent are in senior positions.
Senior Research Analyst in London:
Pros: Being underpaid and undervalued does not offer any more enjoyment there. In general colleagues are nice and good attitude is shown on the face only.
Cons: Lack of opportunity to growth and not being rewarded for hard work
Strickly limited growth opportunities even if one has achieved above and beyond their targets every year. Salary information is not transparent as not to allow employees to assess their true worth.
Research Analyst in London:
Pros: It has become nervwrecking constantly hitting the targets and being shown the carrot for yet another year.
Cons: The understanding of hierarchy is quite strong and those who have little improved over the years with technical competency enjoy more of perks based on their long and strategic relationships across the company. There is a fair amount of discrimination especially around pay which is prohibited to discuss and limitations put on talking about a pay rise to be matched with the people with the same level of job requirements
What I's like at WTW.
Configuration Analyst in Taguig City:
Pros: I like how the company takes care of its employees during the Pandemic by letting them work from home.
Cons: Promotion is hard to get even if you are more than qualified for a promotion, there is pressure from the management.
Lots of challenging work for great clients.
Senior Actuarial Analyst in Dallas:
Pros: The people I work with are very smart and there is little drama.
Cons: Consulting is a faced paced business with very little time for intellectual exploration.
Lots of challenging work for great clients.
Actuarial Analyst in Dallas:
Pros: The people I get to work with are very talented, no drama.
Cons: The dizzying pace of consulting doesn't leave much room for intellectual exploration.
Flexible Schedule With No Career Path.
Insurance Broker in Nashville:
Pros: Flexible work schedule
Cons: No clear career path and management isn't concerned about the lack of clarity and incentivizing young professionals to stay with the company.
