What is it like working at Williams Sonoma Incorporated?

It's a fast paced, retail environment with smart, dedicated and fiscally responsible leaders.
Senior Vice President (SVP), Marketing in San Francisco:
Pros: Amazing, smart, dedicated and hard-working employees
Cons: Risk-intolerant culture, many decisions need to be made "by committee"; sometimes slow to make change.
Political;
Senior Merchandiser in Singapore:
Pros: flexible dress code
Cons: Political; leaders act like they care, but that is the extent of it. Feel like conversations are pretentious. Decisions made about associates are highly non-transparent.
Senior Buyer in New York:
Great culture, leadership is engaged in everyone’s career and wants the best for people. Benefits have seen great improvement since I joined. Pay is very good for the role and industry. The office is amazing.
Multi-faceted.
Retail Store Assistant Manager in Philadelphia:
Pros: benefits, flexibility of schedule, interactions with vendore
Cons: out of office emails, continuous direct customer interaction
High degree of autonomy and influence.
Database Marketing Manager in San Francisco:
Pros: Working with everyone to achieve the same goal
Cons: Difficult to move quickly to enact change
Nice social job experience.
Assistant Store Manager in Leawood:
Pros: Sales, helping customers put together their children's room. It is social.
Cons: Trying to explain why we don't have traffic and what we are going to do to fix it.
Project Manager, (Unspecified Type / General):
It's horrible here. I'm looking for another job. Management doesn't care about training us on how to handle our angry customers. And they won't do anything to make it better. They just continue to put more and more time limits on our calls. I have to hang up whether the customer is taken care of or not. I wouldn't recommend this place at all.
