Western State Hospital Reviews
What is it like working at Western State Hospital?
Sr. Administrative Assistant in Oak Grove:
Pros: Flexibility
Cons: Depending on others to do their job so I can do mine, unfair treatment by supervisors between employees, department manager making poor decisions.
Registered Nurse (RN):
Western State has some great people, but some of the worst systems that I’ve seen in healthcare in 25 years of nursing. The place is just plain dangerous for employees and patients. Forensic case patients with violent behavioral histories are commonly located on wards with seriously disabled civilly committed patients, many of them elderly. Stay away!
