Wal-Mart Pharmacy Reviews

What is it like working at Wal-Mart Pharmacy?

Fair Review.
Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPHT) in Plano:
Pros: The Crew I work with
Cons: The red tape inherent in the system that prevents us from helping our patients.
Not the best working environment.
Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPHT) in Connersville:
Pros: I like helping customers, learning about new drugs, and processing insurance claims.
Cons: Inconsistency regarding adherence to corporate policies and state/federal guidelines. Non-retaliation and "open door" policies are NOT actually enforced.
Clinical Pharmacist in Harker Heights:
I was not appreciated, there was constant discrimination and no opportunities for advancement. When attempting to file a complaint HR would say call global ethics, global ethics would say talk to the supervisor. The problem has led me to call a higher level in the leadership chain. Problems never seem to get resolved.
After covid it is high stress.
Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPHT) in Temecula:
Pros: Dealing with my regular customers
Cons: The lack of support from management
Rewarding pharmacy career.

Do a lot of pharmacy work.

Sometimes unfairly treated work schedule for years of service.
