University of Southern California (USC) Reviews
What is it like working at University of Southern California (USC)?
My coworkers are amazing, our purpose is heartbfelt. I love my patients. Management could use a class or two.
Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in Newport Beach:
Pros: My patients and co workers
Cons: Management
Office Coordinator in Los Angeles:
Pros: Talking to pts and possibly making their experience easier for what they are going through
Cons: No structure
Compensation Manager in Los Angeles:
The most positive aspect about working for USC is the Trojan Pride. The University itself operates with centralized and decentralized organizations. I worked within a centralized org (ex. Finance, IT, HR, Legal, etc). Decentralized organizations would be units such as the business school, school of social work, etc. I believe there is quite a disconnect in assuring consistency in both centralized and decentralized operations. Communication from central HR during the pandemic has also been minimal, which is concerning. With alot of uncertainty, employees need more transparency when it comes to the state of the University from a financial perspective during this challenging time as this impacts the jobs, the pay, the morale, and most importantly the trust.
Not the whole USC, just my department.
Programmer Analyst in Los Angeles:
Pros: Good benefits
Cons: I'm being bullied in my department. Pay is lower than average, and management does not know what I do (I am self-driven). Parking is expensive and after I canceled, they kept charging me, and after I gave up they laughed.
A very welcoming place.
Instructional Designer in Los Angeles:
Pros: Great resources and really creative people
Cons: socially isolated for long periods
Great.
Career Advisor in Los Angeles:

Great co-workers, poor management and inefficent systems of work and processes.
Programmer Analyst in Los Angeles:
