Good environment. Not great pay.
Accountant in Pittsburgh:
Pros: WFH. Boundaries with employer are good. No OT - evenings or weekends outside of normal business hours.
Cons: Egos. Not majority of interactions, but enough to mention it.
Hard work, people skills, high volume dock organization skills.

Pros: all the fine people in the research field .and other fields athletics,we did moves for all university population on any given day

Cons: LONG days and nights; too much stress; not enough time to decompress on some nights
Overworked, disrespected by professors and underpaid.

Sustainability Coordinator:
Pros: Colleagues across departments are passionate about sustainability, many grassroots sustainability projects are taken on by staff and faculty as well as students, get to work with student groups, amazing transportation benefits, beautiful urban campus.
Cons: Pays well below market-rate, limited opportunities for growth within the University, work can be slow-moving and bureaucratic, major sustainability concerns such as divestment remained unaddressed by university leadership.
Wonderful Work Environment.
Administrative Assistant:
Pros: I love the work environment. Everyone is wonderful to work with and we all work great as a team. The students are amazing as well and it's inspiring to see them working toward their academic/athletic goals everyday.
Cons: I feel that while a lot of what I do is benefiting the students in some way, I am still not making as much of an impact as I would like.
