University of Oklahoma Reviews

What is it like working at University of Oklahoma?

So Many Plates, So Little Time.
Team Leader, IT in Norman:
Pros: I love giving my student employees a safe place to earn money under management that cares about them. I also really love making things better, and there is a never-ending stream of improvement items in my position.
Cons: I feel as if there is never enough time to properly focus on longer-term projects. The day-to-day grind rarely stops, and my co-workers simply do not have the knowledge to be able to assist my large team of student employees with their jobs. I am forced to choose between helping my staff in a timely manner or focusing on projects. Several of my coworkers seem to have a lower capacity and drive to meet soft deadlines or do quality work, and that wears on me.
Direct supervisor is great, pay is terrible.
Sr. Administrative Assistant in Norman:
Pros: I love my direct supervisor, and the team that I have built.
Cons: The pay and lies from upper management about advocating for raises.
A lot on my plate, but it's not bad.
Radiologic Technologist in Tulsa:
Pros: That I am trusted to be independent and do my job well
Cons: I am also doing medical assisting and nursing duties and that can make doing x-rays difficult between running around.
