University of Miami School of Medicine Reviews

What is it like working at University of Miami School of Medicine?

It is a great place to work, however, we are underpaid and with a high workload because of we need to hire more people.
Senior Medical Technologist in Miami:
Pros: I am in love with my career. Our Department is doing a great job, out staff is amazing, we all are a highly skilled and specialized personnel.
Cons: Payment is extremely low. Salary increases are not fair, and nothing about bonuses for Med Techs. Salary increments are based upon licenced years of experience. They do not have in account how much a particular Med Tech contributes with their knowledge. Unfortunately, they do not recognize the experience of foreigns (my case), so they paid you as an entry level. However, they use your knowledge acquired in your origin country. That is not fair at all.
Chief Medical Physicist in Miami:
Used to be a really nice place to work. New leadership has ruined this place: reduced benefits, pay, and work environment is a Robespierre like nightmare. 3 out 10 on the recommendation. I wish it could go back to the place it used to be, but that won’t happen until Frenk is let go for the failure he is.
I love working with patients.
Patient Access Supervisor in Miami:
Pros: Working with my team and director
Cons: Dealing with beauracrocy
