United Bank Reviews

What is it like working at United Bank?

Limited Gains at Local Bank.
Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in Fayetteville:
Pros: Understand expectations and ability to work through them
Cons: limited management interaction
Portfolio Manager in Washington:
There are opportunities for growth within the company, but compensation is low, and health care benefits seem expensive. Employer 401-k contributions don't kick in until after 1 year of service. No bonuses at my level, unlike similar positions with competitors. Overall great Team and colleagues. C-suite executives are focused on bottom-line earnings to the point where they don't invest work spaces, and annual increases are capped at 3% unless you are promoted.
Growing my Career.
Vice President & Branch Manager, Banking in Hartford:
Pros: Opportunity for advancement, treated with respect. Community focused
Cons: Change is ok, but execution is the key. Chalk it up to growing pains. Comes with the territory with an expanding company.
