What is it like working at U.S. Postal Service (USPS)?

I have more job security than most. Although I may be paid less than others in my region, I am earning a pension that many others in the region will not enjoy.
Customer Service Supervisor in San Jose:
Pros: The diversity of work enviornments
Cons: Fellow supervisors are not always good team players.
It can be hectic when you need help but have no chance of getting any.
Operations Supervisor in Tampa:
Pros: It is what you make it. You can bid on a new job. Overall, the people are good human beings
Cons: Cliques.
Absolutely love my job...

Pros: Stability
Cons: That being stagnated of not being allowed to transfer. Not being treated with dignity and respect, treated unfairly .

Cons: I have little chance of success because upper management does not know what they want. When I deliver what they ask, they do not like it. They do not spend enough time thinking through their directives to realize how detrimental it would be if anyone were actually empowered to follow through on them.
