Cons: The bureaucratic hierarchy put in place where you work hard, feel deserving of raises/promotions/bonuses, and get overlooked. There is a lack of understanding of what it takes to get rewarded for your efforts. Not all opportunities are created equal between managers, owners, project teams, etc. and therefore it is impossible and difficult to compare opportunities between others.
