The City of San Antonio Reviews

What is it like working at The City of San Antonio?

Assistant Project Manager, Construction in San Antonio:
Stability and medical benefits are what I cared for. However, expect "do more with less" and a employer who cares more for Executives, Managers and politicians than the average employee. HR will (almost) always take the Employers side of things. Understandable that businesses with the traveling public, but the adage of take care of your people and they'll take of the job is missing. Morale is obviously low, everyone is overworked and stuck on the mountain of work. A LOT of prior knowledge joined the "Great Resignation" but there is little heard about matching salaries to compensate with national averages. Cost of living has been rising locally prior to the 2022 Inflation and although it was great to get a pay bump in 2021 citywide, it was a one time deal.
Inequality with regard to workload and pay.
