The Chubb Corporation Reviews

What is it like working at The Chubb Corporation?

Filled with Challenges.
Assistant Vice President (AVP), Regional Director in Hartford:
Pros: The people with whom I work directly.
Cons: Lack of adequate staffing. Aggressive change without adequate preparation and planning.
Challenging.
Intelligence Analyst in Denver:
Pros: I like knowing that I am protecting my company from Cyber Thieves and mitigating loss.
Cons: Sometimes it can be super intense, but I really don't mind it. It is fairly exciting and interesting work.
Switchboard Operator in Philadelphia:
Pros: I am not heavily supervised and weekends off
Cons: PTO time is nor allowed to roll over and its next to nothing. Plus there is no sick time!!
Insurance Claims Specialist in Chesapeake:
I question how reviews are conducted and if there isnt across the board favoritism. For 4 years I received glowing reviews with trash raises. I was also given a pay grade promotion with no increase in pay. I learned main line examiners get a 5% pay increase but I didn't get that. Then my raises over the past 4 years have been bottom of the barrel minimal while others get a much higher raise for the same review. I was told by an outside supervisor that I'm getting "fucked over". Time to look for an ethical employer and move on.
Demanding but never a dull moment.
Health & Safety Consultant in Houston:
Pros: Variety of projects
Cons: the bonus structure
Financial Analyst:
Good company with benefits and remuneration above the standards. Although it has some areas that could be worked on, like the internal structure and communication; it would be very difficult for me to change employers.
