Pros: Interaction with taxpayers
Cons: There is a lack of training and communication
Too much ork too few employees.

Pros: the meaning behind what we do
Cons: low salary and not having staffing to fit the demand of work
Stressful and futile.
Probation Officer in Flagler Beach:
Pros: hours and payrate
Cons: the offenders
This is fine if you don't expect much or want much. Dead end.

Pros: Usually work without supervision.
Cons: Low salary. Low motivation to learn more. No upward opportunities.

If I wasn't nearing retirement age, I would be looking for employment elsewhere. My top 3 peeves, in no order: They don't promote from within, so the only way to improve yourself is to apply to another agency/dept; salaries here SUCK, but that's true in all of Florida; and, every time top exec's change, the whole direction of your agency/dept changes.
