Registered Nurse (RN):
Pros: I like only working 3-12 hour shifts. I like the flexibility and autonomy with my job. I like that the hospital offers tuition reimbursement, as I am currently enrolled in school to obtain my RN-BSN.
Cons: I do not like that the hospital only offers tuition reimbursement for a calendar YEAR, not semester. This means that about 1/3 of my tuition will have to come out of my pocket.
Work flexibility.

Pros: I only work 3 - 12 hour shifts, I work with 12 hospitalists. I have a certain amount of autonomy that I enjoy. I am working toward my BSN, so I am taking advantage of the offered tuition reimbursement.
