St. Vincent Healthcare Reviews

What is it like working at St. Vincent Healthcare?

Patient Care Technician in Indianapolis:
I have worked on a med surg unit at the Indianapolis hospital and it’s been so hard. The unit is understaffed, but there is more people getting hired which is good. The unit is a ton of work for the techs due to high ratios! I have up to 13 patients which absolutely sucks. The unit has a high turnover rate due to lack of money and high ratios.
I am underpaid.
Medical Assistant in Zionsville:
Pros: The doctors I work for and some co workers
Cons: I’m underpaid and I feel like I have no voice at work
Instrument Technician:
Great hospital, excellent benefits and environment friendly. To be honest the pay is awful, I have never in my life worked for such a low wage. It's embrassing when I get with friends in the same field at different hospitals and we discuss our pay rates. I'm at the bottom of the barrel.
