Sedgwick Reviews

What is it like working at Sedgwick?

I have been here one year and it is my favorite insurance company I have worked at in my over decade of experience.
Claims Adjuster / Examiner / Investigator in Portland:
Pros: I like the system we work in, my upper management, my coworkers, my schedule, working from home and my role/kind of claims I handle
Cons: No training when start, wish I made a little more, overall happy!
Great team, terrible starting pay with no raises.
Front End Developer / Engineer in Columbus:
Pros: I love my team, they're a great group who know what they're doing and do their best to help guide new hires. The work is satisfying, you get to see the results of all the time you put into the websites you work on fairly quickly.
Cons: The pay for me personally is way below market. It's unacceptable in today's financial climate that they don't even give raises to compensate for inflation.
Too much work, very little pay.
Claims Adjuster in Philadelphia:
Pros: Flex hours, work from home opportunity
Cons: No employee advocacy, let’s clients tear employees apart
Great company and benefits.
Claims Representative in Pascagoula:
Pros: Benefits and time off policy. Also open door policy with management.
Cons: Claimants and attorneys.
Team Leader, General in Cleveland:
Awesome people and management. The benefits rock, but the pay scales is less than desirable . They took away bonus opportunities and gift cards. Lots of over time that's mandatory. All and all I enjoy the culture of the company.
Overwhelmed.
Claims Adjuster / Examiner / Investigator in Bedford:
Pros: The chance to manage my own desk. Little micromanagement
Cons: The expectations are unreasonable
Good days and bad days.
Claims Adjuster in Cleveland:
Pros: Love being a workers Compensation adjuster for self insured employers
Cons: The amount of work that is expected from me that has to be completed with ‘x’ amount of days. The case load Is more than others so that’s really difficult to achieve 92% or higher on my claim audits
