Salem Hospital Reviews

What is it like working at Salem Hospital?

Rarely staffed adequately. Production requirements are at the expensive of employee safety and patient care.
Certified Phlebotomy Technician in Salem:
Pros: Always on the move- heavy workload and fast-pace makes the shifts go by faster
Cons: Inter-departmental teamwork is not the greatest at times. There is always some sort of friction between night shift and dayshift phlebotomy crew. We rarely have enough staff or proper equipment or supplies to do our jobs effectively. Expected to always do more with less. Very very hard on the body and mental health.
Pharmacy Technician, Lead:
I love working there. The people are great my boss is wonderful. The only thing is the pay is not equivalent to other hospitals. They need to up their base pay and all departments. Everyone says the same thing the pay is not as good as other places. Hopefully that will change in the near future.
They do too many redeployement likes to run on a skeleton crew.
Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) in Salem:
Pros: I can use all my skills
Cons: to much into Quick and easy cards and board huddles are time is taken away from pt care
