Ross Stores, Inc Reviews

What is it like working at Ross Stores, Inc?

Front End Supervisor in Statesville:
Pros: being able to serve customers
Cons: not enough staff, expectations of staff is too high, pay is not enough for the amount of work I do, hiring lazy people for manager on duty position
I feel restricted about the thing's I am allowed to do and what I'm not allowed to do. The managers have you do things even though it risks termination of my job if higher ups were to see.
Asset Protection Specialist in Portland:
Pros: My coworkers. Its fairly drama free and everyone gets along.
Cons: Management being power trippers. They will tell me all the things I can't do but then they do those same actions. I am not allowed to do multpile things as store protection specialist, but my employer has me do things even if it risks my termination
Stressful.
Assistant Store Manager in Los Angeles:
Pros: By being an Assistant Store Manager, I am able to build a strong team and collaborate with many associates with high potential
Cons: Little to bo support from Store Manager. Very little team work from a Manager standpoint and I am expected to do everything.
Fast paced, high expectations.
Assistant Store Manager in San Diego:
Pros: The discount is great
Cons: unrealistic business model, high expectations and vague policies
Horrible.
Sales Associate in Las Vegas:
Pros: The discount
Cons: That I dont get consecutive hours, and I feel like I'm not getting paid enough for my job
Area Manager, Retail in Mesa:
Pros: Helping other grow in their professional careers
Cons: Demand of work load doesn't equal for the amount paid bi-weekly.
Fun to learn.
Key Holder in San Luis Obispo:
Pros: I enjoy the opportunity to learn new things and help supervise and mentor new associates.
Cons: That you have to ask for a raise if you aren't promoted to an area supervisor position.
