Rivermark Community Credit Union Reviews

What is it like working at Rivermark Community Credit Union?

I really enjoy elevating dignity within a financial institution.
Wellness Coordinator in Portland:
Pros: I really enjoy collaborating with community partners to grow our offerings.
Cons: The limited programs and the low pay.
Loan Originator in Beaverton:
I have worked for RIVERMARK over 6 years. The first two years were great. But other the last two- three years are been far from that. They do not take care of these employees as excepted. During the pandemic THR employees of RIVERMARK are what made them a billion Dollar company. And how did they give back to us? Giving everyone a stuffed animal shaped in a letter, “R”, some blanket and a few misc things. Personally I feel like there could have been more. They didn’t give out extra bonuses for the back office or help financially when all our kids were online schooling. They don’t give out holiday bonuses. But can give back to our members, charity, volunteering etc. Rivermark use to be a place I absolutely loved and now I’ve been guessing my time with them.
Reaching out to current member base to talk about benefit of credit union loan mortgage products.
Outreach Specialist in Portland:
Pros: What it stand for community support
Cons: Past interaction with direct manger changes made for the better of one self vs benfit of memeber, team and company
Personal Banker:
The corporate culture here is not for me. The pay was competitive but not worth working with managers, executives and peers who have no idea what’s going on and don’t know how or choose not to do their jobs.
