Rescare Home Care, Inc. Reviews

What is it like working at Rescare Home Care, Inc.?

I love what I do. My job has taught me so much about myself!
Direct Support Professional in Beaumont:
Pros: I make a difference in the lives of IDD client. I have learned things I have never expected to learn. My job has inspired me to further my career in the medical field. My clients are amazing and have changed me forever.
Cons: I feel that it is unorganized, causing frequent miscommunication within the homes, office, etc. The pay is very sub-par considering all of the training you go through. After training you do a lot more hands-on learning, and continued education. I work a ton (I need the money). I spend about as much time here with my clients as I do at home with my husband and children, only difference is I'm awake when I'm at work. For $9.00/hr, the demands, extensive training and continued education, as well as the job itself is just simply unappreciative, unsatisfactory, and will make people like me lose their passion and get lost in the blur of burnout.
Love taking care of my clients.
Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) in Liberty:
Pros: Making the lives of others better, and seeing there smile. When they say thank you, and that they appreciate you, that means so much to me. It means they really like what you do for them.
Cons: When you leave for the day or weekend, and it akes them sad...
Awesome.
Caregiver in Kennewick:
Pros: My bosses willingness to work with me to find consumers that fit my available hours. There understanding and fairness when it comes down to raising a family and work.
Cons: The fact that it can take a long time to get back to full time in the unfortunate event you lose a consumer. I have had at one point wait 6 months before they found someone new for me to work with. It makes it hard to support a family on part time.
Work Harder Get Paid Less.
