Remington Hotels Corporation Reviews

What is it like working at Remington Hotels Corporation?

The GM Grind & Remington Hospitality.
General Manager, Hotel in Minneapolis:
Pros: Autonomy
Cons: The grind. Limited resources. Remington is owned by the hotel owner and takes direction from the hotel owner in terms of how they manage - generally not an independent company, although they may tell you otherwise. Owner is struggling coming out of COVID and is making decisions that might be short sighted. Staffing levels are tough - often requiring GMs who care to work long hours (12+ hours per day is not unusual) and 6 to 7 days per week. 70+ hour work weeks are not uncommon at Remington.
Blank canvas with little direction.
Learning and Development Specialist in Dallas:
Pros: This is a developing area for the company. It's exciting but can also feel limiting.
Cons: Leadership tends to play favorites and only those favored get fair pay equal to deserved title.
