Working at ROMAC Industries, Inc.

The people are great folks to work with. The upper management/hr dept generally sweep bad behaviors of certain leads and other managerial people under the rug, which would otherwise get a normal regular employee either fired or written up. The pay is not very comparable to other heavy machine operator jobs out there. They tend to under pay their employees, but make up for it with profit sharing and a year end bonus. With raises, it's pretty low-balled. With cost of living ever climbing, the wages are not at all livable to the standard of living costs. Partly why I have a second job. If Romac paid their employees a more reasonably fair, livable wage, then I would have no need for a second job. Other than not wanting to commute, the only thing keeping me at Romac is the people I work with, they are absolutely great!
